As part of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s (HKTDC) 2020 Book Fair campaign, I designed an engaging mini web game to attract younger audiences and promote book discovery in a more interactive, personalized way.

Concept & Mechanics
The game served as a “booklist generator”—inviting users to answer three short personality-based questions. Based on their responses, the system generated:
A personalized quote that reflected their mood or mindset.
A tailored book recommendation list linked to the fair’s featured categories.
This digital interaction encouraged deeper user engagement, while driving awareness of specific books and authors featured at the fair.

This project successfully turned book browsing into a fun, shareable experience, helping HKTDC expand its digital reach during a year with limited physical attendance. It reflects my strength in combining narrative design with interactivity, which focus on storytelling-driven user experiences.
